Up to 20% of young people in the world suffer from mental illness. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for 15-19 year olds worldwide. About 15% of young people in low- and middle-income countries have had suicidal thoughts. Data from UNICEF and World Health Organization.

NEWS
This was a suicide case that occurred in Shanghai, China in 2019. This incident also caused a sensation throughout China at that time and soon became hot news. The teenager in the news, because of a dispute with his mother, chose to commit suicide by jumping off the bridge.
At that time, I remembered it very clearly. I took this incident and discussed it with my mother.
Me: what do you think
Mother: The child's mental quality is too bad, the mother just said a few words, she wouldn't commit suicide. Besides, who is not the same. When I was young, my father was very strict with me. I also wanted to commit suicide. Didn’t I get over it? The children nowadays are really arrogant.
I heard my mother's answer, and I was fighting for that child. Because she didn't understand, she couldn't empathize with that child's heart.
These words are like a normal person saying to a depressed patient:
a) What's so depressing.
b) It's because you think too much, just look away.
c) depression is not a serious illness.
In my eyes, my mother blames the child for poor mental ability, just like in a rape case, people blame women for being exposed.
Unbearable sexual desire is like a man's nature, no one blames and educates the perpetrator.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
The prototype of this role of mother is actually my biological mother in reality. She has a strong desire for control and likes to control me with her mind. Her love is too heavy, like a chain tied to my feet. She really didn't treat me like a person. She sometimes gives me the feeling that I am like a pet on a leash. I can only accept her love forcibly and cannot resist. Although I would resist at first, over time, my defense system seemed to be destroyed, causing me to continually wrongly please others. In front of outsiders, even if others do some behaviors that may hurt me, I will still accept them but not resist them.

What do you want your audience to think/feel after they experience your design?
I hope that society can value the importance of mental health of teenager!especially parents and teachers.
For everyone
Let more people understand mental illness and feel the pain of patients.
Caring for them, allowing patients to be better accepted by the society, will help them get better and lower the suicide rate.
Strengthen personal prevention knowledge, identify and stay away from people and things that are mentally intriguing to prevent mental illness.
Help others get out of bad emotions and give others positive emotions.
Avoid becoming a perpetrator, causing others to fall into depression, and even serious people may even suffer from mental illness.
For parents
Your child is a truly independent individual, don't treat him as your own vassal, and don't control him to pay for your sense of security.
Reflect on your own way of education. Bad ways of education can cause mental illness in the lighter ones, and suicide in the more serious ones.
MESSAGE
If you don't want to turn your child into a mental patient or torture him to death, then you'd better reflect on your own way of treating your child's education.
